Cationic polyester yarns are a chemical variation on a standard product.
These acid-dyed yarns have a positive molecular charge and are ideal for bright colors or for use in two-color fabrics creating the effect of a regular mixed polyester with cationic component. Since those cationic yarns can be dyed at atmospheric preasure, they are also prime candidates to be combined with spandex yarns.
The luster of all these yarns is semi-dull.
